I remember seeing somewhere on reddit that there is a different between the 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro. It has something to do with the keyboard keys. I am not talking about the "defective" keyboards. I am talking about that it is a small detail that you can differentiate between the MacBook Pro revisions.

I know the difference between the 2017 and 2018 MacBook Pro is the Option ⌥ Key. On the 2017 MacBook Pro it is a normal size but on the 2018, it is taller. The icon appears to be stretched taller.

So I was wondering has Apple made a very subtle difference between the 2018 and 2019 MacBook Pro? It has nothing to do with checking System Information. You should be able to tell if it is a 2018 or 2019 MacBook Pro just by looking at the hardware.

There’s no cosmetic differences between the 2018 and 2019.

Nope no difference besides the regulatory markings under the Mac. Mine says 20.3V at 3A while my 2018 said 20V at 3A.
