Is there a web source giving current delivery windows for Apple products (in particular, the Macs)? I could also go through the process of ordering to find out, but am not ready to place an order just yet.

The Apple Store app or the web version is your best bet. You don't have to place anything in your cart to see the delivery windows though. Just click Buy and complete the options to view the delivery window below it. Tapping on Find Another Store brings up additional options to find out if any of your area stores might have it in stock.
No other source is going to have more real-time delivery data than Apple.
It displays when you're on the apple store website or in the Apple store app.
No need to place an order - it shows up as you're viewing a configuration - even the base configs.
