Is there a guide to install NitoTV that isn't 2 years old?

I successfully jailbroke my ATV2 but then couldn't install NitoTV. It seems every guide written is either outdated and/or assumes that you know everything about Terminal. I'm a longtime Windows user and know absolutely nothing about Terminal (other than it looks like the DOS-Prompt). I just want someone to tell me what to copy/paste so I can have NitoTV.

And also tell me if/when I need to plug/unplug the ATV2, if it should be on, etc. You know, all the steps.

Where can I find that?

The old guides work just fine. I installed nitro tv fine, xbmc was a bit more difficult

Not true, I still can't find a guide that tells me exactly what it means by "just sftp into your ATV2 and copy the files over."

WTF does that mean? How do I get the file from my Mac to the ATV2?

Pretty amazing that there's no easy, copy/paste style directions.
