For a while I kept up with these forums for a while, in fact for a few months, to the point that I knew basically everything there was to know about hacking, unlocking, jailbreaking, etc.
But, for the past 2 months I've been "out of the loop" and I was hoping that rather than wade through the information (plus a very very healthy supply of misinformation) perhaps there might be a iPhone hacking wiki out there?
In particular I'm currently wondering what the "status" is on activating iPhones to use strickly as an iPod. I'd like ACURATE (not hearsay or speculation) info on how safe it is, what is changed firmware wise, etc.
If anybody knows of such info, that would be awesome.
