I am having trouble focusing on the stock camera app, as sometimes I quickly pull out my phone and it takes a while for it to autofocus, while Camera+ does this instantly.

There's a few options. One free option is AnyLockApp. A paid option is LockSliderz but that does a lot more than just replace the camera shortcut. There are a couple other I can't think of right now.
Just a note on AnyLockApp: It installed fine, worked fine, but once used to activate Camera+, it seemed to disable Activator actions attached to my status bar until a respring. Swiping left no longer brought up SBSettings, double tap no longer brought up the MusicControlsPro dropdown, though both still showed as attached to those gestures in Activator.
I didn't try activating any other app with it, nor did I test other Activator actions, and of course, your mileage may vary depending on other tweaks you have installed. But it's not worth the nuisance factor for me as those two tweaks are among my most used--uninstalled, went back to an Activator action to enable Camera+ instead, and everything's back to normal.

Ahhh sorry bout that. Didn't realize there were issues with AnyLockApp. There are multiple options in Cydia for this though. Have you tried doing some searches to see what you can find, whether in Cydia or on google?
Nah, not this time around as it's a low pri for me. I was just hoping it was a quick and dirty solution to a minor nuisance. Other tweaks may work--or it could be an Activator issue, etc. I know MCP is reasonably popular and SBSettings moreso, which made it worth bringing up. But again, I didn't invest time tonight in working out which tweak was at fault; I run so damn much on my phone that anything new that conflicts automatically gets tossed.I'd be interested to see if anyone else comes across a similar problem though.
Good observation. I have AnyLockApp set to launch ProCamera, and my only statusbar action is SBSettings, and I see a similar issue. After using ALA, the statusbar action stops workin on the springboard and lockscreen, but still works in apps.
Also, FolderEnhancer folders become shifted upward when open, so half the name is blocked off.
Any chance you tried GrabberApp before ALA? Just curious cause I'm thinking of installing it.
I just tried it after uninstalling ALA. Unfortunately GrabberApp crashed to safe mode.

Well, damn. Thanks for trying.
This is one of those things that Apple should just make stock--I do hate having a useless (to me) button on the lockscreen, since I've used Camera+ since its original release over two years ago. Since that'll probably never happen, hopefully one of these tweaks will eventually be updated.

How is lockslizers then - since the others seem to be buggy?
I tried it. Looks good! This is pretty much the only way (for now) I'm going to be able to use Camera+ on the lock screen, correct?
See - the main reason why I want Camera+ or ProCamera is that, for some reason, the stock camera always takes blurry pics. It takes a little more to autofocus... have any idea why it is like this? I like ProCam's anti shake feature. Cause even when I ask someone else to take a pic, it's kinda blurry. Not to the point where you can't see anything but they aren't CRISP like they are when I take it with ProCamera.
