I want to view embeded videos or youtube site videos played in the browser on my iPhone without opening up in the external player like on the iPad.

Like explained below

forums.macrumors.com/threads/936009/

Thanks!

don't think it's possible even with jailbreak since no one will use it too because when you are watching the video in the browser, it's so small that u hardly see anything.

Thanks, Sometimes I like to keep the video playing while reading comments etc. Just how i'm used to multitasking.

If you disable YouTube under capabilities, does that play YouTube in the browser? Haven't tried it myself

Nope. It's still on fullscreen. Apple designed it that way because it's nonsense to run the video in the browser with the screen as small as the iphone. It runs in the browser on the ipad because the screen is big enough to display it nicely.
