I am planning on getting an iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro in silver and graphite.

that’s three iPhones

Does Apple limit the amount you can buy on pre-order day during the CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK?

I only bought one Apple Watch on pre-order day and didn’t test out if you were limited to just one or two or more.

Apple will be very happy to take your $$$. As far as I'm aware, there is no limit on how many iPhones you can purchase by pre-order. It's possible on very large orders that there may be an extra delay in delivery.

In the past, Apple limited the number of iPhones you could buy on release day to prevent crazy reselling schemes. I don’t know if that policy is still in effect.

Often the SIM Free model isn't available for pre-order, so if you buy more, you either need that many postpaid accounts to upgrade, or be signing up for additional plans.

They can handle this differently every year. If supplies are limited I sure hope they put some restrictions on.

I preordered two sim card free ie unlocked SE 2020 as soon as they went on sale. I don’t think it matters what kind of phone account you have. But I did order them on my old iPhone with the Apple Store app and used Apple Pay.

I saw on Google that people’s orders getting cancelled by Apple after their purchase. I would be so sad if I lost my place in the queue.

It seems like Apple let’s you order up to 10, but I worry Apple will just cancel it afterwards.

Last year when I pre-ordered, I was able to order 6 sim-free models and after that they then tell you have reached the limit for the month. It resets every month.
