h9826790 macrumors P6 Apr 3, 2014 16,666 8,594 Hong Kong Dec 20, 2018 #4 If you just want to test the fan, you can use MacsFanControl to manually increase the RPM. The native fan profile won't spin up the fan until the CPU reach about 80C, and only spin up a bit to keep it at about 85C.
