The colors on the Apple web site seem almost the same. Anyone have both that they could post pictures of? Or seen them both in person? How different are they?

Is there a significant difference between the red and orange Sport Bands?

I've seen them both, and I have the Product Red band. There is a noticeable difference, but IMHO it could be more of a difference. The orange could definitely be brighter and orang-er.
I have both, but only because I LOVE orange for accessories. The red band and the red silicone iPhone case are a beautiful combo. I'm not in love with the orange silicone iPhone case though as it's creamsicle orange - I'd like it to be brighter orange and a little deeper in color. I fear I'm turning into a girly-man, matching my watch band to my iPhone case. 
Haha, it does look really nice and I think I'm gonna go for it first, especially since it is a nice Christmas color for this holiday season! I'll check it out in store first to be sure tho, might see the orange and have to have it, I love bright colors...The difference is that the red looks better

(PRODUCT)RED Sport Band - There's a whole thread about the red band. I am a little disappointed in the way it looks, a limitation of fluoroelastomer? I ended up with the orange which I adore - Orange Sport Band Appreciation Station. But really, if you could, get both.
I likely will. Just gotta see which one to get first today. Probably red because it's good for Christmas colors.
I returned my orange band, it was too close in color to the red band (and anything i would have worn the orange band with... i can wear apples "pink" band that is actually a salmony color. I liked the product red better (which is really the band i consider a flawed color as it's too orange.)
actually not so much. i wore the product red with a true red (what some would consider a good christmas red) blouse and the oranginess of the product red annoyed me all day (i was in a hurry in the morning as usual *rolls eyes* and didn't pay that much attention when putting my watch on.... next time i wear that outfit i'll just wear black)
