Is there a spoofed 3.1.2 download available?

As you can see, 3.1.2 can now be made to look like 3.1.3. My theory is that I could download the spoofed 3.1.2, do an alt+restore with the file, then iTunes doesn't think that I'm downgrading and at the same time I can jailbreak. Would that work?

If it would, where could I find the spoofed 3.1.3?

This does nothing close to what u assumed.

Note: This does not really update you to 3.1.3. Instead it just tricks your device into thinking you are updated by updating the file at /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion
only on a jb iPhone.

I know. I upgraded to 3.1.3 by accident and I want to go back to 3.1.2. iTunes will not let you restore a non-3.1.3 ipsw. I hope that if iTunes thinks that 3.1.2 is 3.1.3 then it will allow me to use it and not realize that I am downgrading.

I understand u upgraded to 3.1.3 on a 3GS and your stuck but your assumption will just cause more confusion and letdowns to others in your situation.
And clearly that's not what the link u posted explains. You cannot spoof anything and downgrade unless you have your shsh's stored.
