These must be the worst design strap I have ever come across. The silicone ones.

Yes its comfortable when on but trying to get it on and do it up is a right royal pain in the ass. Am I missing something here as I tend to fumble around with it trying to do the thing up :)

So it would seem lol but Im struggling. Im new to AW so maybe it takes time?

I do it the Classic Buckle way: I put the watch on my wrist. Then turn it upside down so the lower part is facing me and keep the watch in place by pressing the exterior part of my arm and in turn the band against my stomach. Then I just place the pin in the hole and press it. Finally, I put the extra part into the other part of the band. I suspect your problem lies in the last part. If you do it directly then it rubs against itself and becomes difficult. I just kind of make space so they dont touch.

Now that I read it.... please tell me I'm not the only on who does it this way. I learned to do it like that with normal watches a long time ago. :(

These instructions for Watch on left wrist.

1. Put watch on left wrist.

2. Put your middle finger of right hand into the wide loop hole (on the short band).

3a. With thumb of right hand guide the long end of the band close to the short end.

3b. At same time, use that middle finger in wide loop hole and guide the short end toward the long end.

4. As the two bands come together, then just lock it into the hole that fits your wrist.

5. Now that the two bands are locked together, THEN you push the long end into the wide hole to complete the process.

Takes practice but i can put on my watch with Sport band quickly and easily withOUT relying on table or stomach or thigh.

If i have time, i can even do a video...if you guys need it.

I'll add to Thai's post:

1.a. Hold the long end (with the sizing holes) between your thumb and index finger -- and don't let go.
...
4.a: After you've secured the hole over the peg, keep your thumb pressed against the peg to ensure that it doesn't undo itself.

Once I figured this out, I began to prefer it to any classic "tang buckle" watch strap I've ever owned. Because I never have to let go of the strap, I'm much less likely to drop the watch.
