I don't like that little bar being all the way on the bottom of the screen as the only option to unlock my phone :(

Is there any tweak out there where we could either :
- Slide anywhere on the screen to unlock (like the GS3) ?
or
- Place the slide to unlock bar higher on the lockscreen?

You could use Android Lock XT and make your pattern the top three dots.

i think that won't help the OP. android lock is a replacement for numeric passcode which means he still has to 'slide to unlock'.

anyways, i don't know a tweak that does that and i don't think there is a good reason for one to exist. it will just look ugly and block the notifications you get on your screen.

Could always hide the lock slider and use activator actions to unlock. Would just have to set all the slide-in gestures on the LS to unlock device.

Good advice. Use Activator, and unlock the screen however you'd like.

Nice! Thank you :D

Not like I didn't know that activator existed... just wasn't smart enough to think about that possibility ;)

EDIT: Still wish there was a way though were you could have your thumb in the middle of the screen to start with and slide outward to unlock.
