To attach a picture on a forum or website like you would on a Mac of the desktop or folder?
I know you can do it via a URL but I can't use that everywhere.
I sell on Amazon and when I list a product I can't add a pic and they won't let you use an outside URL.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately not. There's no way to navigate a folder structure to select the picture like you can on a regular desktop or laptop.

The only way this would work is if Amazon (or the site you are posting to) had an app designed for posting items for sale, and the app would let you select a picture from the Photos app.

Hope this helps.

Thanks that is what I was afraid of.
I can't believe Apple would leave this out, considering this is supposed to be a device of the masses.
What do they think most or many people do on the internet?
Most people belong to forums and would want to upload a picture or two for the community to see.
Maybe it's just me but I belong to many forums and always like to share pics.
Hopefully someone will come out with something that will work.

you might try photobucket. There is an app to upload a pic to the photobucket web site and you can copy the pics address from that site and paste it in a forum. post it here if it works

Thanks elmo151 yes that works as I said in my first post but I was looking for a way to do this without uploading it somewhere and using the URL.
In places like Amazon seller central you are not allowed to do this for some stupid reason.

Goodreader can connect to web servers, and even mobileme iDisk, and then you can upload a file to your web space, and then you could link to it.

If that will do it then stop moaning ¬_¬. Unless you didnt know I was on about uploading DIRECT not uploading to a url site.

Plus since your not a newbie to this site, whats your excuse for not using the edit button? ;) ;) ;)

Me too.
I'm thinking of contacting the nice peeps of Goodreader and see if they could work some magic like that as they already provide a browser to download stuff.

Is photo bucket the same as drop box? With that I can upload to and from iPad and iPhone. Can copy the link, email the link or copy the image to clipboard. Does photo bucket do this and more?
