okay i know that title might sound complicated. So i have a screen shot of what i mean. I am trying to put a whole bunch of songs, like 10-15, each one could be a link to another song, i guess. I want to put them in "memorable music" and then they can click on that and there will be a list of songs they can play by clicking them. anyone know how, it would really enhance my dvd;s experience because i basically have no video files.

please respond to this thread ASAP. here is the screen shot of it, you get the idea (it is rough, and do not criticize)

thanks

okay, i have been doing some experimenting, and i am pretty sure that is impossible, so what I am going to do is link the songs together with like 5 second breaks in between the tracks, and then just put them in the music slot for that folder, then when they open it, it will play the songs.

I assume you mean iDVD? Anyways, what you want to do, isn't really possible with iDVD. What you can do is put the whole playlist into the DVD and have it play the whole playlist in the order of the music in the playlist.

If you want to do something like a slideshow, you can devote a bunch of songs in a playlist to play during the slideshow. You can even make the slideshow last the length of the time of the songs in the playlist. So for example, if you have (2) 2.30 minute songs for a total 5 Minutes of music, iDVD will automatically do all the timing to make sure that the slideshow lasts as long as the music you have. Thats the best that iDVD can do. If you want to do what you want, you'll most likely need something like DVD Studio Pro, which is around a $500 program that Apple makes.

Sorry others wouldn't help you.....

yea i did mean iDVD, and what i have done is put music with all the slideshows and menus, but i would like it to so they can just play songs through there dvd player. what i am going to do is import them into garage band 2 and then string them together as one audio track and then play them in the folder memorable songs.

thanks anyways, also does anyone know how to put credits in iDVD, i made a folder on the mane menu named credits, and i made them in imovie, but can''t export them or save them as a video file for some reason, i can just preview them.

I would just make a credits button and then click on the iDVD button, which will transfer it to iDVD.
