When an external keyboard is attached, is there an EASY way to disable the internal MBP keyboard?
I know you can disable the trackpad via System Preferences in the presence of an external pointing device, but there does not seem to be an Apple-provided option to disable the built-in keyboard when you plug in or bluetooth-connect a 2nd keyboard.
Thank you.

I think you can’t (at least officially), because the keyboard is not just a keyboard, it also has power button on it. So this against Apple’s ‘philosophy’.

Hey, I am not sure but you can try this to adjust or change the Built-in Keyboard settings:
  1. Open an app that uses the keyboard.
  2. Touch and hold them.
  3. Click on Keyboard Settings.
  4. Then customize your settings.
