Hi,
we all know about the working conditions at foxconn. Personally I think this is wrong and I definitely expect Apple to do better. Some time ago I read that a additional 0.20EUR/0.25$ for a H&M shirt could ensure that every worker would be paid at least 'adequately'. Seriously, this is ridiculous. Those people had bad luck to be born in that region and I don't understand Americans or Europeans say 'If they don't like their jobs, they should just quit' or 'it's the responsibility of Apple to change that'(I think it's the responsibility of society). In my eyes they're more or less forced labourer assembling an extremely luxury device for me.
Feeling really uncomfortably about this, I wonder if there's a way to help the worker at foxconn. E.g. does any organisation offer the possibility to donate direct for foxconn people?
best regards
