I noticed if a power outage happens, a few of my Macs do not power back on when the power is restored. Is there a setting or any other way to have it so that the Mac comes back online automatically without having to press the power on button after something like a power outage? I have a Mac in a location where I'm not at and I need it to get back online as I network with it remotely from a far away place.

Yes: System Settings -> Energy Saver -> Tick "Start up automatically after a power failure"

One way to prevent it from even turning off during an outage? UPS - uninterrupted power supply. Batteries in the UPS kick in when the electrical power shuts off and prevents the power shock to your computer. You can also configure the computer to "clean shut down" if the battery power in the UPS is reaching the end and the electrical power has not been restored. Then once it is restored, the battery will start to recharge all while electrical power is flowing to your machines.
