I have a 4 (w/retina display) and I have a peculiar problem with trying to get some files from an old garageband file. I have iOS 10.3.3 and because I tried to open the project file on my Macbook, it then re-uploaded it to icloud and now I can't open it back on the ipad. When I try and open it on Macbook it just open a blank garageband. When I try and open it on my ipad it says it requires a new version of garageband and to update it, but I can't because the ipad is too old. When I try and open it on my iphone 8 it says it's "damaged or is in a format garageband cannot read."
I'm fairly certain that if I could access the individual files on the ipad, I could get the tracks I need. My question is just that. Is there a way (no matter how in-depth) that I can get the files off there? Or can I force update it to iOS 11?
