Resolved is there a way to get rid of the pink colour in the menu bar?

Theres no pink here.. Still, have you tried dark mode?

(Preferences > General > check off "Use dark menu bar and dock" )

there is no pink colour in the menubar.

It's probably your wallpaper showing through or a window you have open behind the menu bar.

attach a pic so we can see what you're talking about.

It's probably your wallpaper showing through the transluscent menu bar, so the best way to get rid of it is to change the background to something without pink there. If there isn't any pink in your background then perhaps it is the start of a video card issue and you might want to get that checked out if you are still under warranty.

Aah. Got it. Will change the wallpaper. Haven't done anything with that since the upgrade.
