What I mean by this question is, lets say you have your Mac, phone, iPad all sort of in the same space, you say hey Siri while you are on the computer, all 3 pick it up, but it seems at least in my experience that they will hand off the request to the phone, and maybe my phone is just not visible or could even be like 5 feet away from where Im sitting. Is there a way to make it a preference that if all 3 hear you, that it goes to the computer first? Hopefully this makes sense.

There is some logic involved so that Siri tries to respond on the device in use. You can't really change it, but you can do a few things to help.

For example, if you want Siri to respond on the computer, press the Siri button to guarantee a computer response. Also, if you put you iPhone and iPad face down, they will know not to respond.

Holy crap you're right about putting the phone facedown!
