I'm still debating on whether or not to try again with a MBA M1 or go for a MBA M1 Pro instead...
My biggest issue would be display and audio. I thought the audio sounded a bit muffled on the MBA but I'm not sure if it's just me or I got a bad macbook the first time I bought an M1 for the Air. I also thought the display was way too dark, even at max brightness. (I tend to use lower contrast displays cuz I want to see darker colors better--puts less strain on my eyes and I don't have to blind myself trying to see darker lighting in a picture)
Never used a touch bar before (my current macbook is an early-2015, no retina display) so I'm not sure how bad it is to try and use one...
So, I'm not sure if I should really go for the M1 Pro... I'm not sure if the difference in nits compared to the M1 Air means less contrast (which is what I'm looking for)
there were issues in Big Sur photos where smaller images would get stuck in zoomed-in mode on the Photos app. You couldn't adjust the zoom whatsoever. I saw this issue with Catalina too. Pixelmator Pro would also shrink the images. Even on 'actual size' setting, the image would still be very small, while it would look normal in the Preview app.
I'm really unsure of what to do. I'm not a professional editor or anything like that, but super dark colorations on a screen drive me crazy. Is there even a way to fix contrasting on an M1 Air?
