I need to do a full factory rollback and the current state of my phone is messed up so i cant back it up. Is there a way to just save my phone contacts (saving them to Sim maybe???)
I also want to save e-mail accounts and favorites...

please someone let me know.

You can save your contacts by putting them in a service that has cloud support (Gmail,Mobile Me). I am using the Gmail (Supports Contacts and Calendars) and is free and works perfectely. I just restored my 3G, set up as new phone and just synced back using my Gmail account.

As far for the email accounts, you should know the email addresses and passwords. All you would have to do is input that and that's all.

The phone favorites are easily added (after you get your contacts just add one by one).

Can you please tell me how to back up in g-mail. I only get an option to back up in my company's exchange server. I do have a gmail e-mail on the phone.

I thought a pirate was asking this question, haha.

In all seriousness, the previous suggestions of placing contacts in the cloud is probably the best solution. I don't know why the iPhone doesn't support placing contacts ONTO the Sim ... Seems so simple to me. At least you can pull them off of a Sim.
