I havent been able to find that feature though im sure my macbook has one. It just frusterates me that i cant figure it out, especially since now my other alarm has broken. If this doesnt work, can you hook you ipod up to the comeputer computer and set the alarm on the ipod, so your music begins to play at a certain ttime

go to apple downloads and search for one.

I think their's a universal one called ialarm that will play mp3's from your itunes.

can't be positive on the name , alarm something..

best of luck

if you use firefox you can download foxytunes that allows you to control itunes thru the browser and you can also set an alarm with it to start playing itunes at whatever time u set it

Use Automator to create an application that launches iTunes playing a library then configure your users account login options to execute this app upon startup. Now via system preferences schedule your mac to boot at the time of your choosing. Thats what I have done anyway. :D

If you ever need any kind of software, search for it on MacUpdate.com - has everything you'll need :)

Just use the Schedule in Energy Saver...

...and put a link to a sound/song/playlist in your startup items, and crank up the volume before you shut down/put your MacBook to sleep for the night... ;)

But if they're like me, we never turn off our computers (even notebooks), so that'd just be annoying and pointless. An app that can work with the computer being on is best.

Ah... but then you can just use iCal (which also works together with the above), and make a (daily?) event, with alarm (and a terrible and long enough sound). :)

Not saying these are the best solutions, but they are simple... and built-in... ;)
