Hey guys,

Just got a Apple TV Take 2, and found that it will only stream content if iTunes is open on my mac.

Is there anyway to get around this?

Thanks,
Jason :)

Let me rephrase that, since it sounds like I'm a moron....

I understand that iTunes has to be open, but I'm more interested if it's possible to run iTunes as a background process on login (like running as a windows service) or making it run without having it open and/or minimized.

Never mind...I just answered my own question. I totally forgot about Login Items under Accounts in System Prefs.

Sorry for the waste of space.

As long as Tunes running your fine. I have mine open and hidden on start-up and it works every time.
