There's a lot of apps that you need internet access in order to use. For example, the dictionary apps need connection, there is no "offline" dictionary app that I know of (btw, if there is, could someone tell me?)

And it's the same for some other apps that I know of. At the moment, I'm wondering if the sparknotes app that helps you with plays and stuff needs internet connection or if you actually download it to your ipod touch.

Thanks:apple:

edit: nevermind about the dictionary thing.. i just assumed it needed internet...

however i'm still wondering
