iPhone Is there a way to unjailbreak my 4S running 5.01 and not lose my keyboard shortcuts?

The Genius said that people have been having problems with compatibility in restoring from an iOS 5 backup to a phone w iOS 7. So I want to unjailbreak and go back to stock iOS 5.01. Is that possible, and if not will I lose my settings?

I am most concerned about my hundreds of keyboard shortcuts. Help I have a Genius appointment in 3 hours!

do you have 5.0.1 blobs saved, and are you on iOS 5.0.1? if either answer is no, your only chance is to just restore to iOS 7 new.

Yeah I don't have blobs. Should I be able to restore my replacement phone running iOS 7 to my iOS 5.01 backup, including all of my contacts and keyboard shortcuts?

No blobs no downgrade and 4S can't downgrade anyway.

You could use a backup, but is most likely going to give you trouble. Especially if you were doing full backups while jb. Also it's a backup from 2 gens ago.
Contacts will resync to your phone w/out a backup since those are saved on your address book on your Mac and don't need a backup to get them back into your phone. Shortcuts you are sol though.

Why do you assume I have a Mac? I have a desktop running windows xp. Is it 100% certain that I'll lose my shortcuts?? What about bookmarks, apps, photos??

You can backup shortcuts to iCloud by enabling documents and data in the iCloud tab

Backup photos to your computer. Write a list of your apps installed. Bookmarks, maybe enabled safari in iCloud? (I don't use bookmarks on my phone)

If you have icloud turned on and have all these features on you should be able to recover them from icloud. I don't believe you can't backup keyboard shortcuts in icloud.

You can also download the icloud program for win to make sure you have things backed up in your PC like photos, etc.
