iPhone Is there a way to unlock the iPhone 5, since its jailbroken now ?

Ive being waiting for this JB, its brilliant and thank you @evad3rs; but will there be a baseband unlock via Cydia?

No. And now that unofficial unlocking is illegal, a new ultrasn0w is doubtful.

I had my iPhone 5 unlocked on eBay for $3 when I first got it.
 
Best to go to ebay for your unlocking needs as it's more permanent.
That way you can update etc without worrying about baseband.

I unlocked both of my iphone 5 via unlock_fusion on ebay.

as per the new law, it only applies to devices purchased on or after the 26th of Jan ; plus I paid full price for my device.

Yes I checked with Cricket and nobody knows how to unlock it for me (from their end)

You paid full price for your iPhone?
 
well ya.. it was $499 with one month contract ($55) then the phone is mine (technically)
 
Use UnlockFusion. It's a legitimate unlock (even if done through a side channel, it's done the same way AT&T would if you asked them) and permanent.

Since the unlock is done in a legit way, it'll transfer to a new phone if you get your phone replaced by Apple, too. Just tell them it's unlocked when you exchange it.

I'd suggest hurrying too, before they close this loophole.
 
theres no contract (cricket doesnt do contract)

currently my phone is an expensive ipod touch [because I didnt wanna pay $55 per month with cricket]

Plan is to get it unlocked and get on straight talk..

I emailed fusion (when they were on ebay); they said they can only unlock ATT and verizon phones..

:(

hopefully the dev team will update ultrasn0w.. they did that for iphone 4 back in 2011 december

Im mostly out of the country tho but need to get this sorted asap..

between: guys who unlocked via fusion; did they send you a code? how did it work..?

it says " The unlock code once processed will be delivered to your Paypal e-mail address." on their website

PS: my esn is clean, so im going to email fusion and double check.

Unlock Fusion cant unlock iphones locked to cricket.
Only AT&T iphones.
You are out of luck with a cricket iphone.
Its useless unless you want to stay on their crappy network.
