Is there a way to use a Gear watch with the Fitbit app?

I have a Fitbit Blaze but I am thinking of getting a Gear S watch, my only hold up if the ability to sync my data to the Fitbit app. Is there a way to do this?

Fitbit's app is a closed system to Fitbit hardware as far as I'm aware.

The Fitbit app is why I chose to stay with Fitbit instead of getting a Garmin.
