There are a number of people who have liquids in the systems or dropped them onto the ground. Is there any accidental damage program you can buy?

Sony has one for a fairly reasonable price so I know it isn't something extraordinary. Their policy won't work for things like scratches on the case but it shows a gentleman in a cab with a cup of coffee in mid-air so I know liquids are covered. I think it's $400 for 4 years. I would definitely spring for that.

Apple really should offer this. Dell has it with their CompleteCare. I think it's something like $350 for 3 years.

Check on renters insurance. Mine covers accidental damage and it's a really inexpensive monthly premium.

Thanks, I will check my policy.

I have googled a bit on this but am not too sure what is a reputable company and what isn't. If it is part of my insurance that would be fantastic.
