Is there an app that will allow me to view iPhone notifications from my Mac?

I hate bringing my iPhone to bed with me, and I end up keeping it on my dresser at least a few feet from my bed. I always have my notebook with me.

I was wondering if there is an app that will allow me to see iPhone notifications on my MacBook and possibly even enable me to respond to text messages. Currently, my main concern is viewing text message notifications.

The app in cydia is called notify pro.
