Hi guys,

I'm intrested to find out if there is an App (or some way) to be able to access the iPhone screen from my PC.

I know that there are "Win* mobile" apps that applow you to type, click, etc on a 'enlarged view of the "Win* mobile", but I have not found one for the iPhone.

The intention is to make things easier to type in/change/view on the iPhone whilst it is connected by the USB cable

Thanks in advance for any leads

If you're talking about organizing your apps...itunes has built in functionality for that. I have no idea if you can create folders though.

Nope, there are some apps that allow you to easily send text messages and makes phone calls from a desktop though. myPhoneDesktop is one that I personally use. You can compose a message or a call then send it to the phone, it works fairly well. I mostly use the program to transfer notes and images.

If you can jailbreak the phone there are options that will get you closer to what it would like you want to do. Essentially, once you jailbreak the phone, you'll be able to install a VNC server and view/control the phone from your computer.

It's basically not possible for an app to do this in the general case (although it would be possible for an app to allow remote control of itself). To allow this for all apps it would have to be added to iOS by Apple.

LogMeIn Ignition in the Appstore allows you to control your PC, from your iPhone. The app is not free however. Not sure about the other way around.

Thanks Robbie. I hope they do one day. makes it easier at the computer... maybe even transfer stuff...

No Apple-approved app can let you do this. The documented APIs do not expose the required functionality.

Thanks guys.

I guess there's a gap in the app list that Apple might like to look at.

Doing it on the desktop is a lot easier than doing on the iPhone.

Thanks everyone for your contributions
