I searched, but I figured someone might know by now if anything is out there.

Not a big deal, but I'd just like to know. :)

Thanks as always.

If you're jailbroken, audiko.net's UlimTones is a great option on Cydia. You can create your own or download of of theirs. All the ones I have downloaded are good quality. The only gripe I have is that the file names are always weird, but they can renamed rather easily.

No. Apple currently does not support adding ringtones directly from the iPhone other than thru the iTunes Store.

That's a shame. Doesn't make a lot of sense. We should be past that by now. You shouldn't have to sync a ringtone if there's a ringtone app.

1) Make ringtone.
2) Install to phone.

Easy.

Go to Apple's website and request it with their feedback form. They really do read those and use them to help prioritize features.

Sorry for the bump from the dead. Just curious if there's been anything to fix this that I'm unaware of.

Not a big deal, but since I ran across the thread, I figured I'd ask.

U can use iTools. I synchronized a couple using this in my windows computer. Available for Mac too. Hope this helps. :)
