I just got a new iPhone 4S and am using Match. For the life of me, I can't find any way of automatically downloading all the songs at once.

How do I do this?

The only way I've come across is to make a playlist with all my songs and try and hit the "download all" button.

Make sure automatic downloads are enabled in Settings > Store on your iPhone, and maybe in Preferences > Store in iTunes too for good measure. Is iTunes Match & Show All Music also enabled in Settings > Music?

I'm not sure if there is a way to download everything to the device at once in iOS, you (in theory) should be able to view and access the contents of the library if Match has updated it successfully but if you're talking about getting the hard files to the device all at once then you might need to stream & download them individually.

Well, this was a challenge. Somewhere in between getting the new phone and restoring from iCloud backup, my music got severely messed up. About half my library was missing, and entire albums weren't showing up on my iPhone via iTunes Matc (they weren't even listed so I could DL them).

In the end, I wiped the phone, set it up as a new device, and synced my phone to iTunes and at least now it's all there.

At some point, I'll flip the switch on iTunes match again on the iPhone.
