I make screencasts with my ipad pro connected to my mac and I would like to be able to see where the pencil is drawing with a cursor. Can you think of an app that would have this functionality? It is a bit of an odd use case I understand but I thought I would ask.

Because of the way Apple forces us to sandbox our apps, there's no app that is able to interact in such a way with any other.

If an app were to include that kind of functionality, it would be available for use in that app and that app only. So unless there's a specific app, or app type, that you're looking for. I'm afraid not, no.

Yes I was looking for an app that has this feature as I have not been able to find one.

What I mean is what kind of app are you looking for, such as, drawing, photo editing and so on.

There is no app available, nor will there be, that can place an overlay of the Pencil, or any other touch location, on top of, or inside, other apps. Apple don't allow it.

You may be able to find such a thing if your device is jail broken but I don't know for sure as I don't jailbreak my devices.

Thank you for your reply, it can be a drawing app but more likely it would be a screencasting app. I have looked through all of the available ones on the app store and did not find anything with that feature but I thought I would ask to see if anyone knew of anything I could try.

Thank you
