Is there any Hardware-Version newer than 1.0.0?

since the AirPods and AirPods 2 are a couple of years on the market, I was wondering if there is any newer hardware version than 1.0.0?

I believe software updates a automatically pushed to AirPods and AirPods Pro. I know my AirPods Pro have received an automatic update since I got them.

I meant the hardware version, not software.

I don’t believe so. The Pro’s just came out. Mine are same version as yours purchased last week.

Yeah of course the AirPods Pro have the same hardware version but what about the older generations? After 1 year, they might have changed and improved with a newer version.

This is the support site from Apple. Not my screenshot. And if you read my thread, it clearly said AirPods and AirPods 2.
