I'm pretty good with computers as far as GUIs go, but i've always been confused with computer language, hardware terminiology (how it works also), stuff like busses, caches, pipelines, macros, ASM, FSB etc. I guess i wanted to dig deep and start from scratch and understand how computers work.
Like when i read about G5s vs Penitum Ms and how their architectures differ, I understand that one group has certain advantages over the other etc.
What do you guys recommend?
