Is there any reason to wait until August for a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro?

I am currently looking to upgrade my mid-2013 11” MacBook Air to either one of the higher end MacBook Airs or lower end MacBook Pros. Is there any chance of a refresh/price cut on either model before August? Is there a possibility that the education promo could be changed at some point? I was hoping for over-ear headphones to be included but the only options are AirPods at the moment. Basically, is there any reason to wait until mid-late August before purchasing the computer?

The Air and Pro have all been updated very recently, it's highly unlikely they'll be updated again by August. The education promotion has never changed mid-promo so don't count on them adding over ear headphones. You should wait until Monday for WWDC to see if they announce anything that could change your mind.
