I was just wondering if there is anything that can protect your iPhone/computer if you need to connect to public Wi-Fi in an airport or hotel?
My wife may need to use her Win laptop to connect to her office if something critical comes up when we are on vacation. I was thinking about a stand-alone Wi-Fi Hotspot but they are expensive. ATT want $450.00 for the hardware... Blew my mind. I know my iPhone 13 ProMax can be a hot-spot but that opens my phone to the bad guys.
Any ideas???
Thanks!

Why does the hot spot open your phone to the bad guys? Its password protected?
I use my phone hot spot all the time when I am out with my iPad or MacBook.
