Only sort album art and sort title snd artist are a bit messy. But I know that the titles. Albums and artists are correct. Anyway to clear the sort sections in a quick way?

iTunes. Has fields called. Sort title. Sort album. Sort artist. I don’t need them to be any different then what’s in the artist. Title and album section.

Yes. iTunes/Apple Music pre-populates those with what it thinks should be there. Such as "The Rolling Stones" are "Rolling Stones" in the "sort as" field.

For Apple Music songs in your library I don't see how to do it easily. You can change the "sort as" field, in bulk (multiple songs selected), to anything…but you'd have to do it artist-by-artist and album-by-album. Since they're proprietary files you can't use a third-party tag editor on them even if they're downloaded.

Seems like a third-party tag editor would work on local, ripped files, however.

Yes I just decided to show all fields in iTunes snd go into ones that have text in the sort sections and delete the info in that field.

It can default to whatever is in the main fields for artist. Title and album and sort that way.

I don’t have Apple Music. Only downloaded songs on iTunes
