Another option, depending on what your end goal is, but you could also look into ScreenDimmer. Not sure it'll do what you need but at the very least its worth checking out. It's a pretty cool tweak. However, im not sure if it specifically keeps the lockscreen on or not. It's been a while since I've used it.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions but I went for sprintomize 2 and it works great
