Is there ANYWAY to get a G4 running bootcamp wit xp or vista?

Hi all

ok, lets start with my specs.

PowerPc sawtooth 400mhz (bought a PowerForce G4 '47 so it will be 2.0ghz)
128mb Ati Radeon Rage Pro 128mb (bought a RADEON 9800 MAC EDITION 256m)
10gb Maxtor HD ( bought a 400gb seagate Barracuda 7200.8)
448mb DDR Ram

Currently Running Mac OSX Tiger 10.6


IS THERE ANY WAY THAT I CAN RUN BOOTCAMP WITH XP OR VISTA?!?!

i don't want to run Virtual Pc because i want to use my iPods and stuff.

i relise that the Mini or iBook's and G5's can run windows because they the Intel chip in them.

i don't really want to have to buy a G5 or a Mac Mini, unless there are some upgrades for the mini that would make me happy.

Is there some upgrade that can let me do this. Like, i dunno, buying a G5 motherboard and wacking it in my G4? (probably not)

Neither your G4 nor any G5 will run Boot Camp. You need an Intel Mac, not a PPC one.

Well first of the G5 isn't an Intel chip it's and IBM so it doesn't run XP using Bootcamp, only virtual PC. Also, the G4 won't run Bootcamp, only the new Intel machines will. The only way you'll be able to use Bootcamp is if you buy a new iMac, Mac mini, Macbook Pro, or Macbook. If you don't feel like doing that you'll have to use Virtual PC.

Just a note on Virtual PC - it's nasty for anything more than relatively basic software and games are completely out of the question (except for Solitaire, but even that runs slowly).
