Is there anyway to restore latest 10.2.1 iTunes Backup on 10.2 JailBroken version?

my old iPhone 6+ is on 10.2.1

and I have bought iPhone 6S+ which is on 10.2 JailBroken

iTunes is not allowing me to restore previous version with latest backup

I have tried several third party softwares like Wondershare Dr.Fone, iBackupBot, AnyTrans by iMobie and iMazing by DiskAid

Eagerly waiting for your help

don't tell me :oops::oops::oops:
I mean the only way to use the 10.2.1 backup on your 6s+ is... to lose the jailbreak and upgrade to 10.2.1/10.3/10.3.1.
But you wouldn't want that I'm sure. So yeah you're stuck. Always backup the iTunes backup (lol) before upgrading.

Actually my iPhone got stucked in Recovery mode due to bad cable and I did'nt have any choice other than upgrading it to latest version to save my data.

You can go into the iTunes backup and edit the .plist file. Download Notepad++ to open the plist file and edit the iOS version number.

A minute of Googling would've turned this up, and it causes no issues.

oh amazing

I would love to do it

Can you tell me more steps or any link where I can read the guide

Use iTunes to backup your device. The backup must have all the data that you want to restore.

Find the backup. Windows is "C:/Documents and Settings/[USERNAME]/Application Data/Apple Computer/MobileSync/Backup", for Mac it's "~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup".

Open the latest backup, and find the info.plist file. Use Notepad++ and look for <Key>Product Version</key> and change 10.2.1 to 10.2.

Save & restore using iTunes.

As a catch up, under mac, just use TextEdit or could download another text editor like Atom since Notepad++ is windows only.

No problem!! don't worry about the gift :) helping you out is good enough!

I was doing the same 8-years ago when I had enough time and I was moderator of TLF (eastgame) if you ever heard it and was enjoying helping people all day and night.

I was searching for this solution since 15-days and getting mad. I don't know how I missed it on google.

Anyways! I am extremely happy and thankful to you for your time and efforts.

See ya around :)
