iPad Is there better photo app than Apple photo app?

The photo app Apple has only organizes by date photo taken, people faces and similar photo that look similar.

You cannot organize by event or subject. You cannot make event for cars, beach, baseball,boxing, winter and summer so on.

So if you want to only look at car photos you look at car event or if you want to look at only boxing photos you look at that event or if you want to look at summer photos you look at that event so on.

well if you have over 1000 photos you need better organizing. Also photo tags would be good to as you can search by tag.

I’m not really sure what you’re missing that Photos doesn’t have. Between albums and Smart Albums and Machine Learning based searching I’d think all your criteria are taken care of by Photos

Plus I think you're looking for an app to do something the service doesn't natively provide. Maybe look for a different provider?

Or you could possibly do this yourself on a computer/the web? Create folders and add the photos in based on searches? Not sure but just a suggestion

Photos already has Smart Albums where you can set up criteria like description, title, keywords, whatever to look for, and the album will always be populated with all photos that match the criteria specified for the Smart Album

I was just wondering if anyone here uses any other apps other than Apple own photo app organizer. And if they do if if they know of any app that has more features than Apple own photo app organizer.

Have you ever tried using Photos? I think it does almost everything you're asking about. It certainly does more than I ever expected.

I used to copy photos from my iPhone to my Windows computer with a cable, and then "organize" them by year and event or location. When I made the switch to Apple, I decided to go "all in" with Photos, imported all my old photos, and only used Photos from then on.

I still put photos from trips and cruises into albums, but I can find people fast using the built-in feature, or can search for "dog," "car," "birthday," to quickly find photos. I also add titles to some photos and can quickly find them by typing a word in the title. Oh, and I also add tags to photos, which is another way to find photos, like events for an organization I belong to.

I haven't tried any other apps because Photos does everything I need and more.
