I did several searches and couldn't find anything. Is there no Jailbreak for it? I bought a 4S running 6.1.3 off ebay and can't seem to find one.

Nope, not for anything above iPhone 4, you should have done the research BEFORE buying the phone off eBay !

Edit: My oversight. The Windoze version of p0sixspwn does work for some (downgrade of iTunes might be required). Doesn't seem to be very reliable.

Lol, crap. Oh well, I have it listed already w a lot of watchers, should resell.

Is there one for 7.1 yet? There seem to be a lot of ads online for it.

Worked fine for my iPad 4 using Windows.

Lots of people have issues with Mac version especially not working, some success reported with Windoze version after iTunes downgrade. Good Luck with that one.

I have older version of iTunes (11.1.3). Not sure if that was a factor or not.

Yeah I downgraded to 11.05 and still nothing

Was it updated to 6.1.3 via OTA?

You bring up a great point for people buying a phone used for the purposes of jailbreaking. If it was done OTA, all kinds of issue can arise during the process, and every time I have done one (for friends and family) that was update OTA, we ended up having to update it using iTunes first instead and THEN jailbreak to get it working.

Not too big of a deal when the window is open, and I'm sure it's partly my computer, but I do know that lots of folks experience issues with OTA updated jailbreaking.

It's worth asking before you buy it, that's for sure. And for the time being, even if you aren't jailbroken, when updating you should do it through iTunes. OTA is convenient, but can make future jailbreaks problematic if the window closes and you can't restore.

Well, p0sixspwn (spelled right?) works for my iPhone 4, but the boot is now very very slow, I have to wait like 4 minutes every time I boot. It seems they have trouble to boot in general and that's why the boot process is restarted over and over until it succeeds. I saw something like that in their change log, without further explanation. Not very professional. I think the evasi0n jailbreak was a lot more refined.

p0sixspwn is open sourced, unlike evasi0n: https://github.com/p0sixspwn
(i hope that's the right link)

but then again, you would need to understand the code in order to understand it
