Hi All!

I'm always stepping ahead updating to latest iOS releases, but always reluctant to do the same with my MacBook. With version 6 of El Capitan the last version now Sierra is out the door, is it worth the upgrade from Yosemite for stability? I'm a heavy user of Terminal and develop lots of stuff.

I'm running a late 2015 MacBook Pro Retina.

I did mean a Late 2013 with a Intel i5. I've done a full fresh install to El Capitan. Seems pretty responsive.

Don't forget that 10.11 changes some fundamentals of the filesystem hierarchy, in particular, certain locations are no longer writeable even by root. Depending on how you work, it might or might not be a problem for you. If you follow the standard rules, you should be fine.
