I suppose you are all aware what Big Sur 11.0 did to some MacBook Pros 13'' 2013-2014. Am I still at risk of bricking my MacBook Pro 13'' Mid-2014 if I update to Big Sur 11.1? Is the problem gone now? I wanna update so I can update the Boot ROM for my NVMe SSD.

EDIT: I am running Mojave 10.14.6 at the moment, but I don't think that it would matter since I will install Big Sur 11.1 using a bootable USB on my stock SSD if it is ok to install it now.

UPDATE:

I updated my MacBook Pro 13'' Mid-2014 to Big Sur 11.1 without any problem. It runs smoothly and without any problem. From what it seems it is as snappier as Mojave, but there are some bugs here and there since it's one of the first iterations of the Big Sur versions, I hope they will be patched in future updates.
