I was wondering if there was such a thing as an EFI setup (as in the EFI version of CMOS setup), and if so how does one access it on the Intel Mac's?

Thats a good question, I don't think there is any way to access it on one's mac. If there were, you wouldn't be able to do much, seeing as it was designed to probably be set up once,then never touched again.
