Are there any iMacs that have High Definition screens? I've seen people selling High Defintion iMacs on eBay but is it true? Are the external Apple monitors High Definition, too?

All iMacs are high definition as flopticalcube said. They just don't have same resolutions as HD TVs have (1920x1080 and 1280x768)

True HD is hardly a definition, just something 1080p is known by, same as Full HD

I don't think you guys are getting Tallest's point.

Yes HD is

1280x720
1920x1080

When you start hearing people say "True HD" or "Full HD" you know they've been reading too many advertisements. There's nothing more or less true about 1080 or 720 with regard to HD.

There's nothing wrong with simply saying 1080 HD or 720 HD. Jeebus ...vendors always have to play some angle. Full isn't quite as bad as "True" which is absolutely horrendous because it does invite the "well what's false HD?"

At least here in Finland stores advertises 720p as HD ready and 1080p as Full HD. I don't know how they advertises in your countries but I find Finland's way easy and all customers can see is it 720p or 1080p

I'm getting his point, I don't think you're getting mine ;)
As I said, these buzz words are not a definition of resolution, but 1080p is known as True HD or Full HD, because of marketing spin

Any notebook, iMac, or Cinema Display that Apple currently sells ships with a screen capable of high definition.

Exactly. If there's one thing humans have shown a preference for it's larger numbers. If resolution being higher is a good thing 1080 HD will always be preferred to 720 HD.

The 17" is 1920x1200 I believe.
