Hi all,

Just received my C2D MBP and I ran Pixel check. I see one minor minor anomaly on a white screen. However, when I try to look at the pixel at different angles, it is like there is no dead pixel (the spot disappears), but if I look straight at it, I see a minor spot that appears in between pixels (yes I have cleaned the spot). Can someone tell me if this is a dead pixel before I go blind? Oh, I have a glossy screen.

I normally can spot a dead pixel quickly but this is not as easily differentiated.

Thank you beforehand. I think I will keep this one anyway as it is a replacement for one that had several bad pixels.

Hicks.

I'm loathe to check my macbook! If I know where one is (if it even exists) then my eye will just be drawn to it!

Ignorance is bliss :)

I'm the same way. I haven't noticed any bad pixels, and there's no way I'm going to try to expose them on purpose.
