Hey guys just wondering if this is a good buy just manly for photography (Lightroom) 17.3 2010 MacBook Pro $385

You can find that model with the first gen Core i5/i7 17" for that price. Seems a bit high for a Core 2 Duo. Old used DDR3 laptop memory and small SSD are really cheap too. 180GB is an odd size from the earlier years of SSD. So, that's going to be a pretty old SSD with potentially a lot of wear.

That machine isn't worth $50. First, as avz mentioned, it's a 2009 model, not 2010. Second, none of those machines had Thunderbolt so the seller is confused (or lying) about specs. It has old wifi, old Bluetooth, and the OS tops out at El Capitan from 5 years ago.
